How Did I Started My Journey?
The birth of my little one filled my life with blessing and responsibilities I was just 24. And while there was happiness in every corner of the house there was some disappointment in me as well. I was disappointed by my Body my sleepless nights my struggle with handling a small baby and not getting enough support from my partner.
My body was totally changed from a dancer with the weight of 48kg to a 68kg woman who now doesn't want to look into the mirror and in her prayers, she was always asking God to giver her the previous look the previous strength.... Aahh
So then one fine day I thought of starting yoga and it excited me so much that I joined a nearby institution the next day. I always knew that this extra weight will not go suddenly but what I wanted at that point of time is to do something for myself for my body and especially calm my mind to not think negatively about my own body. And believe me it wasn't easy but I took it as a challenge and that's how I started my Yoga journey.
How I completed my 200 hour YTT
It was few months after my practice in that Institute I got an offer to teach in that institute as a faculty teacher as I was doing well and they needed a teacher and I was not expecting this at all (opportunities knock your door when you are least expecting) though I wanted to start earning again but still I was a beginner and learner. So I took it as an opportunity and started my teaching journey. Then after a year of teaching there, I felt something is missing and that was the point when I started looking for a diploma course in yoga to enhance my knowledge and I found that Rishikesh is the place where I can do this training. And I did my 200 hour Hatha Vinyasa yoga teacher training from Association of Yoga and meditation Rishikesh which is affiliated from Yoga Alliance USA. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom of my teachers.
How Yoga Helped Me?
Yoga has been part of my life over a five years now. And it helped me to accept and respect my body again.
It helped me to grow stronger more flexible and fearless both on and off the mat.
Yoga taught me It Is not about the Destination you have to reach. It is the Journey.. ๐
About My Classes
I don’t know when teaching yoga has become my favourite thing to do.
In my classes I make sure one should emphasizes on listening to their own body first and I feel this is the foremost requisite for starting any kind of physical activity.
People love me for my enthusiasm for yoga and I feel blessed when I see people are getting inspired to look after their selves their mind and body first and foremost
Because I feel you can only spread happiness when you have it within yourself and practicing Yoga and meditation can really help you to do so.
